Meet Christine…
Christine is the owner and founder of Stronger Steps
Christine has always had a strong desire to learn more in all areas of life, physical, mental and spiritual.
As a devoted practitioner for over 20 years Christine deeply believes in the power of the body to heal itself. She began her career as a Remedial Massage Therapist and then in 2007 took a leap of faith as a busy mother of 3 to attend university as a mature aged student to become an Osteopath.
In 2012 she completed a master’s degree of Osteopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University and founded Stronger Steps Osteopathy, a unique space where people can feel safe to traverse the journey of physical healing. Christine is passionate about Osteopathy and supporting people in their journey to improved mobility and better health. With over 25 years’ experience in the health field, she uses her knowledge of the body and its movement to help support your well-being.
Christine’s love of massage has never left her and in 2023 she studied under Andrea Lopez to learn Mama Medicina Abdominal Massage. A deeply relaxing and powerful approach to the body through a combination of massage, Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy, uro-genital fascial work, scar tissue and adhesion release as well as many more learnings from the ‘old wise ways’ of traditional folk medicine.
Christine recognises that there are many paths to healing and that is why she continues to study other modalities of therapeutic healing. A professor once told her that if you think you know everything about the body, you should retire & Christine has taken this to heart and continues her study of the human body.
